Game schedule

Back to the terms of service

A Scope of This Schedule

This is the product schedule for Gunshot, published under section 3 of the terms of service. It is not a separate agreement and is not read on its own: your agreement for Gunshot is the body of the terms, the annex for your jurisdiction and this schedule, read together.

Gunshot is in development and is not yet offered to the public. Where access is given before release, for testing or for a preview, section 13 of the body governs that access alongside this schedule, and neither document is a promise that the title will be released.

This schedule adds to the body for this title alone. It does not reduce a protection the body or your local law gives you, and it does not extend our liability beyond the limits in sections 17 and 18 of the body.

B The Product

Gunshot is a top-down dungeon crawler for personal computers, built on the studio's own engine. Its floors are generated for each run, and progress within a run does not carry over to the next.

Gunshot is intended for release through the personal-computer stores the studio publishes through. You obtain the title, and pay for it or for anything within it, through the store and not from us. The store's own terms apply to you as that company's agreement, and section 11 of the body explains what they mean for this one.

CEDRA Interactive publishes Gunshot and is your counterparty for it under section 2 of the body, whichever store you obtain it from and whatever the store's page says about the developer.

The title's age rating, its content descriptors and its hardware requirements are stated on its store page for the territory you buy in. Those statements describe the title; they are not a warranty, and section 17 of the body applies to them.

C Licence

Under section 7 of the body we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and play Gunshot on devices you control, for your own personal and non-commercial entertainment. The licence covers the title as we supply it, including the updates we issue for it.

The licence is not a sale. It gives you no right in the title's code, assets, characters or audio beyond playing it, and it ends when your access ends under section 16 of the body or when the licence is otherwise revoked as that section allows.

You may install the title on more than one device you control and play it offline where the title supports that, unless the store you obtained it from provides otherwise. You may not transfer the licence or the account holding it to another person, except where the store you bought through operates a transfer we are bound to honour.

D Name, Marks and Content

Gunshot, its logo, its characters, its artwork, its audio and its text are owned by CEDRA Interactive or its licensors, and section 12 of the body governs them. The licence in this schedule lets you play the title; it is not a licence to use its name or its marks.

Video, Streaming and Screenshots

You may record, stream and publish footage of your own play of Gunshot, including on channels that pay you for it, provided that the material is your own commentary or performance rather than a substitute for the title, that it does not present itself as published or endorsed by the studio, and that it complies with section 8 of the body. This permission is given freely, may be withdrawn for a particular use, and does not transfer any right in the title.

You may not distribute the title's assets on their own, sell footage as a product in itself, or use the title's name or marks in a way that suggests a partnership, sponsorship or endorsement that does not exist.

Modifications

Altering the title's files is prohibited by section 7 of the body. Where a title offers official support for modifications, the rules for it are published with that title and are read as part of this schedule; nothing in those rules gives you a right in the title's own code or assets.

E How the Title May Be Used

Section 8 of the body states the conduct rules that apply across everything we operate. For this title they mean, in particular, that you may not:

  • use cheats, trainers, automation or any tool that alters how the title behaves, or exploit a defect for advantage;
  • interfere with another player's session, or with the servers or services the title relies on;
  • extract, scrape or republish the title's content, or use it to train a model or build a competing product;
  • use the title, or an account holding it, to sell services, advertise, or run anything commercial that we have not licensed in writing.

Where a title has competitive elements, detection of cheating may be automated; a suspension or ban that affects your access is reviewed by a person before it takes effect, and section 16 of the body governs how it is applied and contested.

F Payment, Virtual Items and Refunds

Payment for this title, and for anything offered inside it, is taken by the store you bought through. We set no price at checkout, hold no card details and issue no receipt: those are the store's, and section 10 of the body governs purchases generally.

Where the title offers virtual items, currency or unlockable content, they are licensed to you as part of the title and are not owned by you, have no monetary value outside the title, and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred except where the title itself provides a way to do so. Ending your licence ends your access to them.

Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy, and your statutory rights as a consumer, including any right of withdrawal, are set out in the annex for your jurisdiction. Where a store refunds a purchase, the licence that purchase carried ends with it.

G Data

The privacy notice published on this site states how CEDRA Interactive handles personal data, and it applies to Gunshot in full. Section 14 of the body ties the two documents together.

In this title we process what running it requires: game state so that a save works, crash data so that defects can be fixed, and telemetry where you have agreed to it. Where the title asks for optional telemetry, the in-title privacy screen is where the permission is given or withdrawn, and the choice persists between sessions.

The store you bought through is a separate company and a separate controller for the account, payment and device data it holds about you. We receive from it only an account or player identifier, the display name attached to it and entitlement information. Card numbers, bank details and billing addresses do not reach us.

H Support, Changes and End of Service

We support the title through the contact address in section 23 of the body and through the store's own support channel where the store requires it. We do not commit to a response time for a consumer title, and no service level applies to it.

Section 15 of the body governs changes to the title and its availability. A title can be updated, changed or withdrawn, and an online feature it relies on can be ended. Where we end an online feature that is material to how the title is played, we will give reasonable notice by the means we normally use, and the annex for your jurisdiction states what your statutory rights are when that happens.

Withdrawing this schedule does not end a licence already granted to you for the period that licence covers, and sections 17 to 19 and 22 of the body survive the end of your licence as that body provides.

I If This Schedule and Another Document Disagree

Section 4 of the body sets the order in which documents prevail, and that order governs here as well: mandatory local law first, then the annex for your jurisdiction, then a signed agreement where you contract with us as an organisation, then Annex E where you use the title as an organisation, then this schedule, then the body. Nothing lower in that order removes a protection something higher gives you.

An end-user licence shown when the title first launches, and any rules published with an official modification programme, are read as part of this schedule and take their place in that order with it.
